Samuel Colt Needs to have a monument in Washington D.C. “At just 22 years old, he proved himself to be a savvy businessman and promoter, but slow sales forced him to turn his attentions elsewhere” Samuel Colt could work hard at a young age and think like a smart business man. He could run and own a business well at a young age which showed how responsible he was. Samuel Colt was independent and intelligent "Colt produced his own version of July 4th fireworks." Samuel Colt was smart enough to figure out how to make his own version of fire works and have them work properly. He was also independent because he didn't have youtube to show him how to make them. He had to think on his own and create his own custom design. He thought outside of the box when it came to engineering."During the voyage, the 16-year-old became fascinated by how the ship’s wheel could spin or be locked in an affixed position through the use of a clutch. Reportedly, this observation sparked his idea for a revolving chamber capable of holding six bullets that could lock into place." Just by looking at a ship's wheel he thought of a gun. He thought of how he could incorporate the ship's design into the gun to make the chamber revolve itself when you pull the hammer back. If you want the juice from an orange you have to squeeze it. If want nice tools or a house it takes hard work to get that. The Squeeze is the hard work and the Juice is the Nice house or tools. According to the BLS Commissioner "Total Nonfarm payroll employment edged up by 98,000 in March" All of these 98,000 people that got a job within march are putting in some type of work to make money and be able to buy and afford the nice things they want or need. “The brave may not live forever, but the cautious never live at all”- Author Unknown. When racing motocross it gives people a chance to be free and be fast. There are a lot of motocross tracks all around the world for people to race on. Motocross can come with many injuries, but while having the correct skills to race motocross the chances of getting hurt are reduced. If a pro can win a race they could win a lot of money for first, second, or third place. While being very entertaining motocross requires some basics.
Taking off is the key to anything in motocross. According to Ride a Dirt Bike (the basics) “With the bike in first, you want to slowly let off on the clutch and give it a bit of gas.” First the bike needs put in first gear by pulling in the clutch and kicking the shifter all the way down. While Giving the dirt bike some gas the clutch also needs let out slowly. The bike will start to move. Once it starts moving the clutch needs to continue being let out slowly. After this has been done, the bike will be off to a start. If the clutch is snapped out the bike might start moving but it will stall. The dirt bike if given to much gas and the clutch being snapped out can also flip or wheelie. Shifting, while being challenging at first can become very simple once it has been learned. According to How To Use A Clutch On A Dirt Bike.“While squeezing the clutch, push the shifter down with your left foot to put the bike in first gear”. Let off the gas before shifting, and then pull in the clutch while not giving it any gas. After pulling in the clutch and letting off the gas the shifter needs to be kicked up or down on the left side of the bike. The clutch has to be pulled in while shifting up. Once the bike has been shifted up let go of the clutch and hit the gas. After taking off and shifting gears the next skill to know is how to stop. According to Ride a Dirt Bike (the basics) “...shift into first, pull in and hold the clutch, and brake.” When being ready to stop, the clutch needs held in. While holding in the clutch the gears also need shifted into first by hitting the shifter down multiple times the the left foot. After having done this pull in the front brake and step on the rear brake lever. After the bike stopped put the bike in neutral then let out the clutch. “The brave may not live forever, but the cautious never live at all” How to take off, shift, and stop because Motocross requires skills. Taking off is the key to anything in motocross. Shifting, while being challenging is also simple once it has been learned. After taking off and shifting gears the next skill to know is how to stop. When I become an adult I want to become famous for racing motocross. Critics say that fame and fortune doesn't supply a person with true happiness. The type of happiness coming from fame and fortune depends on of the celebrity's personality and how much stress they can handle. Many people are famous for a variety of things for example being an actor in a movie or kickboxing. If you are famous you are most likely rich which means you can have everything you want. If you ever want something you can get it.
Celebrities get everything they want, and most have a twenty four seven security to keep them feeling safe. "She earns more money from one movie than most people make in a lifetime. Plus, she gets amazing perks, like free clothes from top designers.." according to Scope. If you are famous you can get anything you want without lifting a finger. Celebrities don't have to worry about a price tag because they make billions of dollars a year, and have security that will keep them protected from anything. Young celebrities have done a lot of bad things and made mistakes."...like the 22-year-old has been spending most of his time apologizing for his bad behavior." Celebrities have made bad decisions, but most of them were young and not thinking clearly."...Her looks and eating habits have been criticized in the media." According to scope. Celebrities get criticized for small things that they have done or the way they believe in things, which can makes celebrity's problems seem worse than they really are. Celebrities don't always struggle in life or go crazy from stress."Clearly, not all stars crumble under the pressures of fame. Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Will Smith, and Justin Timberlake—all of whom became famous as teens—seem to be doing fine." Celebrities can be strong and handle the fame well, but it depends on what type of person they are and if they have had experience with stress. Some people are just born being able to handle the stress and are able to cope with haters and paparazzi wanting to know everything about their life. Celebrities get everything they want, and most have a 24/7 security to keep them feeling safe. Young celebrities have done a lot of bad things and made mistakes. Celebrities don't always struggle in life or go crazy from stress. The way a celebrity handles their life and stress depends on what type of person they are and how they've handled a stressful situation before they became famous. While going over our new chapter in science class Mr. Oney pointed out some words like Pangea. Since I wasn't sure what Pangea meant I felt a little Naive, as did many other class mates. Since Shane sits in front of me when Mr. Oney said Ring of Fire Shane yelled and created a Fiasco. When he yelled the sound of every ones laughter obliterated the air. After they were done I thought I might have to garnish my ears with hearing aids. I could embody how Mr. Oney was going to react to all of the nonsense that had just happened. During sixth period math I was gratified to find out I had a B. The homework that Ms. Turner gave us exasperated me. When Skylar started talking the class said that he had an infinite amount of being annoying. I said that his heritage was from the annoying people.
There are many Christmas traditions all around the world. On Christmas eve my family has dinner with my dads side, and on Christmas day we have dinner and open presents at my grandmas house with my mom's side. While having dinner with my Dad's side of our family we also play 7-11 and my parents give gifts to all of my younger cousins. After eating dinner with my Mom's side of our family we also play 7-11 and unwrap gifts from my grandma and grandpa. When we are done eating and opening presents usually we go outside and play football. On Christmas eve my parents and I went to a friends house to watch the ball drop. we played card games consisting of uker and rook. We also ate lots of hommade food my mom brought her spicy buffalo chicken dip.
On the 3rd day of christmas break we bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cheroke. The car was originally from Michigan and on the way down to Ohio the driver hit a deer and scuffed the front bumpers paint. While only having the car for a few days the radiator hose started to leak so my dad and I checked it out. We could have fixed in an hour but instead returned it to the dealer for them to fix it. The dealer had the car for a week before it was finally returned to us last night. during my Christmas break we did a lot and had a lot of fun. We celebrated two christmas's with my Mom's side and my Dad's side. On Christmas day my siblings and I got a lot of presents that I didn't expect. Although I’m only 13 years old, I know what I want to be when I grow up. I enjoy building and designing things to solve a problem. I love working with my hands instead of being inside watching a tv. Currently I’m getting A’s, B's and I have one C which accounts for my 3.39 GPA in eighth grade. I will try to increase my study habits in high school because I want to attend EHOVE. When I grow up, I want to be a Mechanical Engineer. When I grow up, I want to be a Mechanical Engineer.
I will become a Mechanical Engineer by learning good habits and working on the necessary skills at EHOVE. According to Ohio Means Jobs website becoming a Mechanical Engineer requires a Bachelor's degree. I will be able to accomplish a Bachelor’s degree by improving my current habits and work ethic. While in college I will keep up my good habits and work hard for four years. Mechanical Engineering requires many skills. According to Ohio Means Jobs necessary skills for this job are Analytical Thinking Attention to Detail Innovation Dependability Cooperation. These skills are needed because of what the job inquires. While working on or designing a product you must pay attention to the smallest or the whole thing could not work. When working on an item you must cooperate with other employees for their ideas and to get the job done. Mechanical Engineering is a good paying job with lots of benefits. According to Ohio Means Jobs the median salary in Ohio is around $73,010. With a good paying job many items can be purchased for entertainment without a struggle to pay the bills, but only if you spend your money wisely. The more fancy things you have the more bills you will have to pay each month. Good habits and work ethic is a good thing to have many skills are also acquired by becoming a Mechanical Engineer, but if you are wise with your money you could have a lot of room to buy items for entertainment purposes. Before career day I thought it would be easy to just spend some money and buy a nice vehicle. While I was thinking about how easy it would be I didn't consider the insurance, utilities, and child care. I also didn't think about entertainment and what I would like to do or buy to have fun. After career day I have realized how hard life actually is. When our parents say no because they are stressed out or just say no, I understand why. They say no because they have too many bills sometimes and are in worry of debt or are stressed out because they might have had a bad day at work trying to make money to pay the bills and be able to buy things. While listening to the afternoon speakers I have been encouraged to continue and follow the path of a mechanical or Aerospace aeronautical engineering. After the speaking with the person at CSI Forensics she encouraged me too follow this path and she informed me of what kind of jobs I could get into with this education. When Donald J. Trump becomes president of the United States he will bring back jobs by reopening the coal industries. Which provides cheap energy, we need cheap energy to start climbing out the the huge debt president Obama has put us in. I am a Donald Trump supporter and America should vote for him.
Donald Trump has a plan to prevent illegal immigrants. “...the country must be protected from the terrorists, drug cartels, insurgents, or suicide bombers lurking on the other side.” We should build a wall because we cannot allow terrorists come into this country and kill thousands of people. What happens after that? We can’t find these terrorists because we have no information about them. They could have went back across the border and into Mexico. If we had a wall they wouldn’t be able to get into country. Hillary Clinton wants to give free education to illegal immigrants. “If we claim we are for family, then we have to pull together and resolve the outstanding issues around our broken immigration system.” We can be for family without letting illegal immigrants in. When Donald Trump said he wants to Build a wall he never said it would make people move back to mexico and tear apart their families if we build a wall it is going to stop illegal immigrants from flooding into our country and stealing our jobs. Hillary Clinton is talking about classified information on her own private server.“Government investors say they found classified information in emails from Mrs.Clinton's server.” If Hillary Clinton is allowed to use her own private email server than she could be telling other countries anything. For example she could tell them about a new weapon the U.S. military is testing, and if they find out this information they could beat us to perfecting it and attack us under her presidency. If Hillary Clinton becomes president of the United States she could possibly leak information to other countries about our new technologies for the military. If we do not build a wall illegal immigrants will continue to flood into our country and get free education while the legal U.S. citizens work hard and pay taxes for their free education.
